I've got a few more hours of work and then I'm off for four days.  I'm gonna spend my next for days here...

If ya can't tell, I'm a bit excited.  Usually by this time of they year, we've been on the lake at least 5-6 times but with Alan working away and everything else we've had going on we have only been once...which was at Supertwang and the water was freezing!  Being on the lake is one of my favorite things and I just can't wait to hang out with some of my favorite people and have a good time.  I'm also super excited about getting back on the wakeboard!

And I'm really hoping to see my girl Pauli while she's home from Atlanta!

Sweetest thing EVER!!!

26 before 26!

I'll be 26 in 14 months and there's a lot I wanna do before then.  The girls and I were talking about "growing up" the other day and I said..."lets live life to the fullest for the next year and then settle down."  Hopefully, I'll always live life to the fullest, but there's lots I wanna do before I "settle down" so I thought I'd make a list.

1.  Take the GRE
2.  Get accepted into a Masters program
3.  Stay in a Bed and Breakfast.
4.  Go to Vegas.

5.  Visit the Jack Daniels distillery

6.  Buy a new car.
7.  Read more books.
8.  Take Logan to the Lost Sea

9.  Make my mom a quilt
10.  Visit NYC

He's 35!

Saturday evening I headed to Alabama to see Alan and go out to eat for his birthday!

We drove 30 minutes down the road to Huntsville and went to Bridgestreet Town Center.  It's an outdoor shopping mall and of course, they have places to eat.  It's so pretty and it makes me feel like I'm at the beach.  They have some great shopping, always a plus!

We decided to try something new and went to eat at the Smokehouse Restaurant.  We had fried pickles for an appetizer, I had the pulled pork plate and Alan had the Frank's Steak.  My food was delish...After dinner we were going to go to the Melting Pot for dessert, but we were both so full we decided to walk around and do a little shopping.  We went to the Fossil store and Alan bought me a new watch for our Anniversary and I LOVE it!

After shopping we ended up just going back to the hotel and relaxing.  Sunday morning, I got up and went to Nashville.  I had planned on just making a quick trip since I had to work that night, but I ended up shopping longer than I needed to and didn't get an sleep which made for a LONG night at work that night! 

Now, I'm off work today, Logan graduates Kindergarten tomorrow : (...(think I'll need some Xanax) and then I'm back to work for 2 nights

Then its party time over the weekend and I cannot wait!!!!  I'm off Friday-Monday and so is Alan!  If you need us, we will be on the lake!

Supertwang was such a great concert...................NOT!

The weekend was great, the event not so much.
I'm pretty sure the odds were against us last weekend but we were bound and determined to have a good time.  Alan had worked 18 days straight, I had worked my normal schedule plus 3 days of overtime, and everyone else had worked just as much.

So Jo and I had both worked and I hadn't even started packing.  We were supposed to leave at 8am, but considering I didn't get off of work until 7am and I hadn't packed, and the boat/truck weren't packed, I knew it wasn't happening.  As soon as I got home I had to deal with a thief who stole my victoria secret package out of my mailbox the day before.  Actually I didn't deal with her, I dealt with the Post Office, Victoria Secret, and the police.  Great way to start off my morning.  On top of that, the weather was horrible, it was raining and chili outside.  After we finally got on the road, we were about an 1 hour away from the farm where the concert was held and something went wrong with the truck.  I think it was a bearing or something.  Anywho, we spent over an hour and lots of $ getting that fixed and finally made it to the darn farm. 

At this point Jo and I hadn't had any sleep and I was exhausted.  They boys, Brit and Brook got out and sat up camp and me and Jo slept in the truck for quite a while.  Later on we got up to go listen to Craig Morgan.  He put on a great show and then we went back to our campsite to play some P&A and drink.

Saturday morning, we got up, had breakfast, and then the boys went to see about getting the truck fixed.  The girls started drinking while they were gone and then once they were back we had them go get the boat!  We sat around and gave each other pedicures, braided hair, gossiped, and drank some more while they were gone.  It took them forEVA, but they finally made it to pick us up.  In the mean time, I invited 7 little frat boys out on the lake with us, I lost a flip flop in the lake, Brook did the splits, and who knows what else happened!

Apparently, (and I say apparently because I don't remember much after this point) we got on the boat and were having a good time...lets just say lots of dancing was going on.  Anywho, we got pulled over and it ended up being Supertwang people giving out memorabilia, then we got pulled over by the coast guard.  I guess I gave them a piece of my mind and embarrassed everyone on our boat!  I then tried to wakeboard but couldn't stay up...unsure why but EPIC FAIL.  After that, I passed out   fell asleep for a while!  When I woke up I was in a much better mood but freezing to death.  I pulled Alan and Brandon on the wakeboard and then I rode for a bit.

After than we went back to camp and I fell asleep.  Of course, we found out that the concert had been cancelled once we got back and the place just turned into one huge party...bonfires, moonshine, and music everywhere.  I slept through most of it though.

Sunday morning we packed up and headed home!  I had so much fun and was so glad to be away from work for a few days and spending time with Alan!

A Great Morning...

Just wanted to post this real quick.  One of the reasons I started a blog was to write things about Logan.  I know there's so much I'm gonna forget and I wanna be able to remember.

Anyhow, he had a Dr. app this evening so Mom didn't make him go to school today.

First thing first.  He wanted cheerios for breakfast.  So after I made his bowl of cereal he wanted sugar in it, I looked everywhere, but couldn't find any so what did I do...put chocolate milk mix in his cereal....lol!  It probably tasted horrible, but he said he liked it and ate most of it.

After that we spent most of our morning downstairs playing Super Mario Brothers and listening to his ipod.  I love  music and I'm so happy that Logan seems to love it too!  We turned his ipod on and jammed out all morning.  It was too much fun.  He was dancing around like crazy....it was WONDERFUL!

Later on, we went to the Dr. and he got a new "hard" cast put on.  He's such a tough little boy!  He asked the poor girl who put his cast on a thousand questions.  He also informed all of us that we could not write, I Love You on his cast because it would embarrass him.

I did it anyway!

Mond-Wed work!

Rested Thursday during the day and then I got up and headed to Alabama to see Alan.  I got there around 9pm and we just relaxed.  Friday, I got up and went shopping while Alan was at work.  It's a good thing we don't leave near Huntsville.  I spent so much $ and there were lots of places that I didn't get to go.  I bought several dresses, some flip flops, bracelets, couple of shirts, Logan some clothes, and Maddy some clothes.  After shopping, Alan and I went to Logan's to eat with his crew.  While we were there, Mom called me to tell me Logan had broken him arm and was going to have to have surgery the next morning.  I was distraught, to say the least.  I wanted to drive up there, but when I typed in the address in my phone it said it was a 5 1/2 hour drive and I was already exhausted.  So, I decided to get in the bed and leave early the next morning.  I managed to get on the road around 5:45 and it ended up only being a 3 hour drive (probably b/c I drove 90 mph the whole way.)  I didn't get to see him before he went into surgery, they actually took him just a few minutes before I got there.

His surgery was pretty quick and he was still pretty drowsy after they brought him back to the room.  Initially, they had said he would have to spend the night to get some IV antibiotics but after surgery they decided he could go home after he woke up.  I expected him to be in a lot of pain, but he never complained.  He's one tough little boy!  I stayed at the hospital until he was discharged and then headed back home to get some rest.

Saturday night, I had to work again....overtime.  It was a rough night!  When I got off work, I went straight to Granny's.  This year, instead of having lunch, we had breakfast so Teresa could come.  I was worn out by the time I got there and after I ate I fell asleep for about 3 hours and then mom called to tell me Jamie, Tennille, and Maddy were at the house.  So, I ran to the house to see Maddy for a bit and then went to Paula's mom's to see the baby!  He's so stinkin' cute.  I spend a few hours out there loving on him before heading back home to see Maddy and spend the night with Logan.

Logan and I played Mario on the Wii before bed.  I slept on the couch in the living room and he wanted to sleep in there with me so mom made him a pallet in the floor and that's where he slept.

This morning, I had an infant shoot so I did that, stopped by Children's Place to exchange some flip flops, and then went to the house to get some rest before coming back to work!

I have been going non stop for the past couple of weeks and I can't even remember when the last time I got to sit down and watch TV.  I work 3 more nights after tonight and then we are going to Supertwang and I will be off Monday-Thursday for that!  I cannot wait to RELAX and maybe do some sewing!
