Thursday-sleep
Friday-I went home to go to Logan's Valentines Party at school. I got to Morgan County a little early so I went to see Granny! I have the absolute best Granny in the world...I don't know what I would do without her and I enjoy getting to spend time with her. Logan's party was cute! Mom and I walked in and he looked surprised and said, "I didn't know ya'll were coming." I think he was a little excited. They played musical chairs, handed out their Valentines cards, and then had snacks! After school we went to the house and started looking at stuff for Disney. I was going to take him to Disney on Spring Break but Mom has convinced me not to. It will be one of the most crowded times of the year and he's still a few inches short of being able to ride some of the rides. So, we may just do something else! That evening we played some Wii and just hung out. I fell asleep early (I'm still having trouble switching around on my days off.) Saturday we got up and Mom cooked breakfast. Monday/Valentines day is mom's birthday. I had gotten her a card and gave her some money and I had Logan sign the card and take it to her. While he was doing that I got his card/candy ready for him and gave it to him when he came back. He was appreciative of the $20 I put in it........however, mom never said anything about her card and she always says thanks. So, I asked her if she got her card and she said "no." Long story short, Logan wanted to keep the $ that was in her card. Mom and I both had very long talks with him about being appreciative and thankful and being happy for other people when they get nice things. It hard to explain to a 5 year old.
Anyhow, on the way to Logan's game I went up to Granny's and took her a card and some candy for Valentines day. Logan's game was in Norwood so I went to it. He got a little more aggressive this game and I think he's starting to get into it more. We found out he had another game later in the evening so I decided to hang around for it. We went to eat at some place Richard likes in between. It was called Double Dog's or something like that. Food was good and they served Logan's food in a dog bowl. He loved that! Logan did pretty good his 2nd game too! So proud of him! I love that little turd.....I went straight home after his game. I got there and Brandon and Christi were there. They hung out a while and after they left I went to sleep.
We had decided earlier in the week that we were gonna celebrate Valentines Day on Sunday. Sunday we got up and I was craving some blue cheese dressing from Nick's. After I got ready, I came out and Alan had my Valentines present on the kitchen counter. He got me a dozen red roses, a sander that I had asked for, a card, candy, and a..........PEARL ring. I hadn't ever asked or even mentioned a pearl ring but he said he knew I love my pearl earrings, necklace, and bracelet and let me just say........I LOVE THE RING. It's pretty and simple and completely me! He did good! I had given him his present early...a new pair of Rocky boots! We went to lunch at Nick's and it was wonderful! I had Cajun chicken Alfredo, salad, and a chocolate molten cake! After lunch, we went to look at cars and then went home. We were planning on riding the bike but I decided I was tired and I thought it would be to cold for me so I napped and Alan took a ride. After he got back we went to his ma's to eat, Jamie came over for a bit, and after he left we went to town and The Social Network. I wasn't very impressed!
It was the perfect Valentines Weekend. I spent time with most of the wonderful people in my life...my mom, Logan, Granny, and Alan! I couldn't have asked for anything better! And I also squeezed in a little bit of time with Miss Maddy....she's presh!

Jan 31st-Feb 6th Recap
Mond-Wedn WORK!
Thursday-Sleep!
Friday-I got up cleaned the house, ran some errands, done a little shopping, and then went back to the house to start packing for Chattanooga! Brandon, Blake, Jonathan, Brittany, Thad, and Joanna met us at the house and we headed out. I napped on the way down. We got to our hotel, checked in, and then Brit and Jo started getting ready. I had been up since 1am Friday ( right now, I'm having a horrible time getting back on a normal schedule after my 3 nights at work) so I didn't wanna get dressed up and really didn't wanna do anything. I was just a bit....grumpy! Anyhow, we called a taxi/van to come get all of us. We went to Taco Mac to have dinner. I got a kids meal with corn dogs but someone ordered chips and cheese dip and it was the best cheese dip EVER! After dinner we decided to go to the Electric Cowboy. I'm not sure whose idea it was to go to go this place but it was HORRIBLE. Seriously it was one of the shadiest places I've ever been. After a few minutes we called the taxi to come back and get us. So after we wasted over $40 on taxis we ended up back downtown, right where we started. I can't remember the 1st place we went downtown but there was some horrible HARD rock group playing and no one (except Alan) was really into it. We ended the night at Sing It or Wing It which was the best place we went all night! I was soooo tired and so ready to get in the bed once we got back to the hotel.
Saturday we all slept in and laid around for most of the morning. Joanna needed to get something to wear and Brandon needed some white shirts to we went to the mall. Joanna and I took off to get the shopping quickly done. I'm a quick shopper and she's a SLOW shopper so I have to keep her on track.....ha! We stopped at a random sunglasses store and I fell IN LOVE with some Tiffany sunglasses! Sadly the were $450 and I just can't see spending that much on sunglasses, especially when at least 5 pair of mine end up at the bottom of the lake each summer.
After shopping, we went back to the room and started drinking and getting ready for dinner and the concert! Margaux and Brook stayed at the same hotel and they came to the room a few minutes before we headed out. We had to have to two taxi vans to get all of us. Kelsie and Lewey were already downtown and had tried to get us a table at Chili's but the wait was crazy so they walked into Sing it or Wing it and got us a table. We (all 12 of us) had dinner there and then called a taxi to come get us. Downtown was so crazy, the taxi was taking forever, and we were getting close to time for the concert SO........when the taxi got there........all 12 of us piled in!!! Yes 13 people in one taxi van! Jonathan was setting on Blake's lap...it was hilarious. But we made it to the concert in time for Eric Church. He put on a great show!!! I wasn't too impressed with Jason Aldean though! He sang way to many slow songs! After the concert the boys (blake, brandon, and jonathan) left with some girls and we all went to Mellow Mushroom. We ate a little and had a few drinks and then went back to the room. When we got there the 3 boys were all in their room in the bed.......hahahahahha! Everyone hung out in the room for a while and then went to bed. It was a great trip and I love when we all get together!
Sunday was the Super Bowl. Brandon had a get together at his house and we went for a while. I was worn out so we left after 1/2 time.

Jan 24th-30th
I have been putting off this post b/c I haven't put my pictures on my computer...and I still haven't. But it's 2 am and I'm bored out of my mind so I figured I'd go ahead and post and will add the pictures later.
I worked Mond-Wedn as usual! I came home Thursday morning cleaned up the house, did some laundry, and a few other things and went to bed. Alan called when he was on his way home from work and I got up and started packing. Once he got home, we headed out to Gatlinburg!!! We left a lot later than I had hoped so we just grabbed something quick to eat and drove. We got to our room around 9pm. This is the 1st time that Alan booked the room by himself and he did a great job. We were both tired and so we just kinda watched some TV and went to bed. We got up early Friday, bundled up, ate breakfast, and then headed to Ober Gatlinburg to try snowboarding for the 2nd time. We hoped that since it was Friday and we got there when they opened that it wouldn't be too crowded, but we were wrong. There were people everywhere!
After we finally made it outside and got our boards on we kinda just stood around a bit, both a little scared...I think. After we watched plenty of people fall we finally went down the smallest hill. We both did ok and decided to go up a level. We both did so much better than last time and we really enjoyed it a lot more! Of course, we both fell plenty of times and we still can't really do much without falling but we are learning and excited to go back sometime...hopefully soon. We are thinking that we may buy boards soon.
After 1/2 day of snowboarding we went back to our hotel, changed clothes, and went to eat. We ate at 5 guys for the 1st time and it was DELISH! I had a cheeseburger with bacon on it and we split some cajun fries. I wasn't crazy about the fries but Alan loved them. After lunch we went shopping at the outlets. I got Logan tons of new clothes and picked up a few shirts for me. We went to the Oakley store and Alan ended up getting a new outfit for snowboarding!
After shopping we went back to the room, I napped and he watched TV then we got up and went to TJI Fridays for dinner. We don't have a TJI Fridays in Cookeville and I love their Jack Daniels Chicken and Shrimp and their Brownie Obsession, so every time we are in a city with a TGI Fridays, we eat there if I have anything to do with it!
Saturday morning we checked out and went to Knoxville to do a little shopping and then went to Logan's ballgame. He's still pretty clueless about what's going on so it's very entertaining to watch him play. After the game we went to the house to spend some time with the family, I also had to take Logan all of his new clothes, which BTW, he could care less about.
Overall it was a great weekend and I can't wait to snowboarding again. I just love getaways with the boyfriend!!!
