2 weekends...

The weekend before last, I napped for a couple of hours after I got off of work, then went to meet Kelsie at

for lunch.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Red Lobster and eat there every chance I get.  The best part...I had a gift card that one of my patients had given me.  I love how she and I can go weeks or even months without talking and pick right back up where we left off.  After lunch, we did a little shopping for fabric and then we met Margaux to get a pedicure!

Later on that night Alan and I went to...

to have dinner.  BBQ is one of my favorite foods and they never disappoint.  After dinner we met Brandon, Margaux, and Catie at the movies to see...

It was so funny and I can't wait to watch it again.  After the movies we went to Wooly Bullys.  I hadn't been in there in several months but the crowd has changed....and not for the better!  We had a good time anyway.

Saturday, Brit and I went to the house and laid out in the pool for a bit and spent some time with the family.  Nicole, Tess, Granny, and Joann all came over.  I brought Logan back with me and we took him to the Drag-strip to see...

It is supposed to be the fastest truck in the world and has reached speeds up to 400 mph.  Obviously it didn't get this fast that night.  But he LOVED it.  I think his favorite part was the flames that shoot out of the top and back of it.  Wayne, Brit, Thad, and Josh were also there.  He loves those boys...and Brit too!

Sunday, the boys went to work on a food plot for hunting while I slept!  Later Nicole and Michael came up and the boys went to play golf.  Nicole, Logan, and I ran to town to do a little shopping and we stopped and looked at a few wedding dresses....none of which was she impressed with.  After the boys got home we all cooked out and they headed home with Logan!

Monday, Brit and I went to Denny Bottom to lay out in the sun.  It was nice just to chill out for a while!

I worked Tuesday night and then I went home to be with my Granny because her brother passed away.  While I was home, I also got to spend time with Logan and take him to school and pick him up.  The funeral was Thursday night and after it Tess and I went out to eat.  Friday, Nicole and I picked Logan up early and headed to Gray, TN to see...

That would be Justin Moore.  This is the 3rd time I've seen him and I love him more every time.  He always puts on a good show.  Logan ended up setting with Blake for part of the show, but I think he enjoyed it.  He loves Small Town USA and If Heaven Wasn't so Far Away.  Logan got to ride a few rides before the concert and we all rode one together.  We had a 3 hour drive home and got stuck in traffic, so it made for a long night, but it was worth it.

Saturday, I spent a couple of hours in the pool with Logan.  Then Jamie and Tennille brought Maddy over.  I finally got them her 1 year pictures and then I headed back home.  That night JD had his annual B-Day party. The party wasn't super great, but later on we all took the jeeps down to the creek.  I drank lots of wine and had a good time!

Sunday, I spend the day hanging out with the boys-checking out deer cams and shooting bows!

Back to work Monday-Wednesday and then off to Mexico!!!

Week Recap...

Work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Sleep Thursday.
Friday, Brit and I went to Knoxville to do a little shopping and visit baby brother.

I got to hold him for the 1st time and he's so TINY!  He weighs 3 lbs, 7 oz but is doing great!  He is on room air (no oxygen) and doesn't have any IV's or a PICC line...He is being fed through a NG tube in his nose which is why it looks like he has a mustache.  He is so precious !  I bought his his 1st Harley shirt but the only size they had was 3-6 months, so it'll be a while before he will be able to wear it.  After we left the hospital we went out to eat with Daddy and Paula and then went shopping.

Later that evening we went to Woolys for a few drinks.  Brit, Thad, Jo, and Jo's new boy Noah were all there, too!  We stayed there for a bit and then all went to the house to play the Kinect and Just Dance on the Wii.  It was so much fun!  We didn't get in the bed until 4ish and Brit and Thad stayed the night...

Saturday we hung out at the house, went to the funeral home, and then decided to cook out.  Jamie, Josh, Brit, Jo, Noah, and Thad came over and then we decided to ride 4 wheelers down to the creek and built a bonfire...It was too much fun!  Once again, we didn't get in bed until 4ish.
The start of our campfire...

We've been back on the 4 wheelers today and rode down on the creek...the weather has been so nice and I've had such a great weekend.  I'm so thankful for all of my friends and I'm so glad we can just chill at home and still have a good time...

Logan's 1st Concert

On Friday, Febrauary 25 I took Logan to his 1st concert....he loved it and I'm so happy I got to expierence his 1st concert with him.

I took him to see Jason Aldean in Knoxville at Thompson Bowling Arena.  Ever since Jason Aldean released Big Green Tractor, Logan has LOVED the song...of course, at the time the song came out he loved anything and everything that had anything to do with tractors.  Anywho, he loves the song, like knows every work of it and has for a long time.  He even sang karaoke to it at Kelsie and Lewey's wedding back in November of 2010.  I had always said if Jason Aldean came to Knoxville I would take him, so I bought us tickets as soon as I found out he would be there.

Logan wasn't really sure if he wanted to go or not.  Mom had told him a while back that concerts were boring and so he was on the fence and honestly, I wasn't going to push him to go, because we weren't that impressed with the concert when we saw it in Chattanooga.  Anyway, he decided the week of the concert that he wanted to go and by Friday he was really excited.  I met mom in Monterey to pick him up around 1 pm, took him to get his hair cut, and then went to Brandon and Blake's to meet them!  So....it was me, Logan, Alan, Brandon, Blake, and Joanna......crazy crew!  Logan loves being around everyone so he was already having a blast.

We stopped at Smoky Mountain Brewery to eat in Turkey Creek before the concert.  We missed the Jane Deer Girls, which I'm was NOT upset about.  Eric Church came out right as we were getting to our seats.  Most of the time Logan was looking pretty bored during Eric Church so I was a little worried that he was going to be bored during the whole show.  When he sang Love Your Love the Most, (mustuard on my fries is what Logan calls it) Logan stood up in his chair and sang.  Then when he sang these boots we convinced him to take his boot off and hold it up in the air.  All the ladies around us got a kick out of him all night long!  The whole time Eric was playing he kept asking when Jason Aldean was going to sing.

Once Eric went off stage and they turned the lights on, he just kept asking when Jason Aldean was gonna come on stage!  Then the next questions he asked a million times was....what I thought his 1st song was gonna be?  Honestly, I can't remember the 1st song, but I do remember that he knew the words to almost every song and he had the biggest smile on his face.  He would sit down after each song thinking that he wouldn't know the next song and that he wouldn't wanna stand up to sing it and almost everytime he was up singing.  I do know that he was on cloud 9 when Big Green Tractor came on!  He stood up, was dancing, playing the air guitar, and singing EVERY word!  I LOVED it!  He had worn a cowboy hat and had taken it off.  For whatever reason, when Big Greeen Tractor came on, he immedietly said I need my cowboy hat....it was so cute!  Anyhow, Big Green Tractor, Crazytown, and Hicktown were the 3 songs he really loves and wanted to hear.  He sang Big Green Tractor and Crazytown and then went off stage.  Logan sat down in his seat, put his cowboy hat in his lap and fell asleep.  I knew he'd come back on stage and he did.  Hicktown was his last song and I woke Logan up a couple of times to see if he wanted to wake up to hear it, but he just pushed me off....it was 11:30 at this point so the boy was TIRED!  I stood up to sing along and watch, turned around to talk to Alan and then I felt a little tug on my arm.  Logan had woke up, was back standing up in his chair and singing along!  It was a great night!

He is already asking when the next concert is and when we can go back to another one!  I am so excited, I think he's gonna love live music as much as I do.  I can't wait to take him to another one!

He fell asleep as soon as we got into the car.  He spent the night with us and Saturday we got up, did a little shopping, went to the park, came home and painted wooden dinausours, went to eat chinease, and then went to see Gnomeo and Juliet in 3D.  It was such a cute movie and actually held Logan's attention the whole time, which is hard to do.  Plus, Alan even said it was good!  After the movie, we went by Wal-Mart to get some things and ended up buying a Kinect for the xbox.  We spent the rest of the evening playing it!

Such a great weekend.  I love that little guy to death!
