Mexico Part II

For whatever reason I don't have any pictures from day 3!

That morning the girls all had a massage on the beach.  So, so relaxing!  It was one of the best things about the trip.  That evening Jo and I went to the buffet to eat and the rest of the group had reservations to eat at one of the restaurants. Alan came back to the room after dinner and was pretty toasty!  It was entertaining!

On day 4, we spent the morning at the beach, the middle of the day in the pool, dinner reservations at the fondue restaurant, and then we went to Coco Bongo.  I really wish we had went to Coco Bongo earlier on during the week.  It was our last night there and we had to be up early the next morning for our flight and I was not interested in drinking.  Alan and I left early but the show was really awesome.  It's just not a place you wanna be if you aren't drinking!

Now for the fun part.....PICTURES!

Story: Thad is a Type I Diabetic so at times he had to get out of the pool, hook himself up to his insulin pump and chill on the balcony.  On this particular day, I decided to chill with him so he wouldn't be up there by himself.  Somehow that turned into him painting my nails, me painting his nails and him giving me this lovely "tattoo" on my foot!  I think it's the wrong color though...
 Before dinner
 Alan's missing

This was the drinks for 4 people.  We didn't have room for our food because of all our drinks...

On the plane...so not wanting to come home...

Most Relaxing Vaca EVER

Alan and I just got home from our vacation.  We had a great time and it was SO relaxing.  Usually I pack my vacations full of things to do but I this time I wanted to RELAX.  So I hadn't planned anything.  Alan was convinced that we would be going, going, going once we got there, but he was WRONG.

We got to the resort around 3 p.m. on Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised.  We stayed here...

The place was really nice!  We checked in and headed up to our room.  We had an ocean view with a balcony.  I LOVE being right on the ocean.  It makes everything super convenient.  Everyone at the resort was super nice and I just kept waiting for something to go wrong (it never did.)  They had valet parking which you had to use.  I wasn't really crazy about that, I'd rather just park our own car and walk, but whatever.  We had a little mini fridge that they re-stocked daily with drinks and a drawer that they re-stocked with snacks.

Sunday evening was spent relaxing in the room until we walked down the street to get something to eat.  We ate at some random place just a short walk from our room.  I ordered loaded nachos and there were amazing!  I also ordered a drink but it was awful!  I honestly don't remember what we did each day but every day we went to the beach, sat in our little chairs with our feet in the water, and I read a book!  It was so wonderful!  I read....

while we were there and I loved all 3 of them...

We did some shopping one evening, but got there too late and so we went back the next day.  We visited two of the Harley stores in town, walked down the beach at night, went to my favorite restaurant ever TGI Friday's, and tried another restaurant which was a local favorite!

That's about it!  I never knew relaxing could be so nice!

I can't wait to do it again!!!

 The pool...

Dinner our 1st night...

I think this was when we 1st got there...hence the no makeup lool

My favorite wine...Blackberry from Del Monico winery

Weekend Recap....again!

Work Tue-Thur.

Friday morning when I got off of work, I met Kelsie @ Cracker Barrel for breakfast!  It's so hard for us to get together lately so I was glad I got to see her and catch up!

After that, I went home and napped until noon.  Then Margaux, Alan, Brandon, and I went to the lake.  We spent the evening relaxing in the water and wakeboarding.  Later on we ran into one of Alan's friends and anchored our boat and got on his.  We rode behind his boat for a while and then went to Hurricane Marina to eat with everyone.  It was interesting!
After dinner, we walked around the dock and looked at house boats.  I've always said I hated them and would never want one but I have completely changed my mind.  I am in love!  I think it would be wonderful, to head to the lake every weekend, tie the boat up and go out on the water whenever!  Maybe one day...

Saturday, I literally slept until 2 pm.  I was so worn out from working all night Thursday and not getting much sleep on Friday!  It was nice, but I definitely felt lazy!  Around 3 that afternoon, we headed back to the lake.  I have decided that's the best time to go.  By the time we get there and get in the water, most people are leaving and we have plenty of time and good water!  Anyhow, it was me and 5 boys...Josh, Alan, Brandon, Jake, and Brandon.  We had a good time!  I always get cracked up listening to those boys talk!  I have definitely learned a lot on the lake with them!

Josh Plankin???

Sunday, we had a cookout at my parents since the pool is finally finished!  It's so nice and I can't wait for some days off so I can go lay out!  We had a great time, everyone was there!  Even Tessa came and everyone actually got in and swam!  Sometimes, I really miss everyone being at the house and hate the fact that we are all getting old!  Although, I can't wait until we all have kids and then we have cookouts and holidays there!  It will be amazing!

I was quite surprised at how well Logan is swimming!  He is for sure all boy and he's growing up so fast.  It really makes me sad, but at the same time, I'm excited to see the person he is going to be!  He has his 1st day of 1st grade on Thursday : (.  Nicole is going to pick him up and then they are coming to stay a couple of days with us!  I am so excited!  I haven't spent quality time with he r in forever!  I'm hoping to talk her into going wedding dress shopping on Saturday!

I can't wait!

Last Weekend!

Friday evening, Alan and I met Brit and Thad at El Tap for dinner!  After dinner we went to see Bad Teacher!

I thought it was so hilarious!  Alan loved it because Cameron Diaz is in it and the thinks she's the hottest girl ever!
She is pretty gorg...

Anyway, after the movie Alan and I went to Josh's house.  He and I played ping pong for ever.  I am horrible, but I LOVE it and then he tried to teach me to play the guitar!  I just can't get my fingers to move the way they should, maybe one day though!  Josh and Jake ended up spending the night at our house that night!

Saturday  morning I got up at 5:45 and started making breakfast.  We had bacon, eggs, biscuits, and gravy.  Brandon came over and ate and then the 5 us of headed to the lake!  We were on the water before 8 a.m. which is a record for us!  We had several hours of good water before the lake got crowded.  I called Brit around 9, and she came down!  We actually ended up leaving about 2:30!  We all went out to eat and to the house for a bit to cool off and then headed back to the water!

That evening Thad came down and then we all went to watch fireworks at Hurricane!  The boys were shoving  Disaronno down our throats and so by the time the fireworks were over, Brit and I were feeling pretty good!  For whatever reason, we really wanted to go down a slide off of a houseboat, but Alan would not take us!  Anywho, Brit and I were dancing on the back of the boat and singing at the tops of our lungs, until......we got pulled over.....

Sunday, we got up and went to the lake for a bit, came home, showered, and then headed to Dale Hollow to see Pauli.  She was in from Atlanta and I hadn't seen her in quite a while.  Alan and Brandon had been drinking the whole day and were quite entertaining!  She had 5 of her friends from Atlanta with her and we had a really good time!  I miss her so much but I know she is doing what she always dreamed of.  And I just found out she's moving to Denver soon, so hopefully I can go see her this winter and do some snowboarding!

Monday, we went to the lake but the water sucked and I face planted and none of us were really into it.  Alan did try a tantrum, and almost landed it, so he was really pumped!  That evening we went to a cookout at his Ma's and JD took me for a ride in his 79 Camaro....120 MPH on the interstate!  It was pretty crazy!  And......he actually let me drive it!

Tuesday Alan and I ran around doing errands and then I laid down for work!

Work Tue-Thur night!

Supposed to go camping and fishing this weekend!

A LITTLE R&R

Sunday evening I went to Alabama to see the boy!  They have moved towns so I got to stay in a new, much nicer hotel.  That evening we went out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant, made a trip to Target, and drove through a couple of cars lots.  Monday, I slept way to late, went to the pool, came back to the room and napped, and then went back to the pool for a bit.  I ordered some room service and then started getting ready.  It was a nice, relaxing day!  The hotel has a spa and Alan told me to treat myself to whatever I wanted, but honestly all I wanted to do was lay by the pool and nap!

The pool is wonderful.  They have a slide and I cannot wait to bring Logan back with me so I will have an excuse to go down it!  There's also a little cave and some waterfalls, he will LOVE it!

I'm not so sure about this decor.  It reminds me of Christmas.  I love spending the night in hotels because I LOVE the king size beds.  I cannot wait until we have a house and can have a king size bed!

Monday evening we drove to Huntsville to look at rings shop!
Tuesday I headed home to get ready to come back to work!  Of course, I stopped at Cool Springs and did some shopping on my way!

Working Tues-Thursday and then its time for the lake!

He's 35!

Saturday evening I headed to Alabama to see Alan and go out to eat for his birthday!

We drove 30 minutes down the road to Huntsville and went to Bridgestreet Town Center.  It's an outdoor shopping mall and of course, they have places to eat.  It's so pretty and it makes me feel like I'm at the beach.  They have some great shopping, always a plus!

We decided to try something new and went to eat at the Smokehouse Restaurant.  We had fried pickles for an appetizer, I had the pulled pork plate and Alan had the Frank's Steak.  My food was delish...After dinner we were going to go to the Melting Pot for dessert, but we were both so full we decided to walk around and do a little shopping.  We went to the Fossil store and Alan bought me a new watch for our Anniversary and I LOVE it!

After shopping we ended up just going back to the hotel and relaxing.  Sunday morning, I got up and went to Nashville.  I had planned on just making a quick trip since I had to work that night, but I ended up shopping longer than I needed to and didn't get an sleep which made for a LONG night at work that night!

Now, I'm off work today, Logan graduates Kindergarten tomorrow : (...(think I'll need some Xanax) and then I'm back to work for 2 nights

Then its party time over the weekend and I cannot wait!!!!  I'm off Friday-Monday and so is Alan!  If you need us, we will be on the lake!
