Last Weekend!

Friday evening, Alan and I met Brit and Thad at El Tap for dinner!  After dinner we went to see Bad Teacher!

I thought it was so hilarious!  Alan loved it because Cameron Diaz is in it and the thinks she's the hottest girl ever!
She is pretty gorg...

Anyway, after the movie Alan and I went to Josh's house.  He and I played ping pong for ever.  I am horrible, but I LOVE it and then he tried to teach me to play the guitar!  I just can't get my fingers to move the way they should, maybe one day though!  Josh and Jake ended up spending the night at our house that night!

Saturday  morning I got up at 5:45 and started making breakfast.  We had bacon, eggs, biscuits, and gravy.  Brandon came over and ate and then the 5 us of headed to the lake!  We were on the water before 8 a.m. which is a record for us!  We had several hours of good water before the lake got crowded.  I called Brit around 9, and she came down!  We actually ended up leaving about 2:30!  We all went out to eat and to the house for a bit to cool off and then headed back to the water!

That evening Thad came down and then we all went to watch fireworks at Hurricane!  The boys were shoving  Disaronno down our throats and so by the time the fireworks were over, Brit and I were feeling pretty good!  For whatever reason, we really wanted to go down a slide off of a houseboat, but Alan would not take us!  Anywho, Brit and I were dancing on the back of the boat and singing at the tops of our lungs, until......we got pulled over.....

Sunday, we got up and went to the lake for a bit, came home, showered, and then headed to Dale Hollow to see Pauli.  She was in from Atlanta and I hadn't seen her in quite a while.  Alan and Brandon had been drinking the whole day and were quite entertaining!  She had 5 of her friends from Atlanta with her and we had a really good time!  I miss her so much but I know she is doing what she always dreamed of.  And I just found out she's moving to Denver soon, so hopefully I can go see her this winter and do some snowboarding!

Monday, we went to the lake but the water sucked and I face planted and none of us were really into it.  Alan did try a tantrum, and almost landed it, so he was really pumped!  That evening we went to a cookout at his Ma's and JD took me for a ride in his 79 Camaro....120 MPH on the interstate!  It was pretty crazy!  And......he actually let me drive it!

Tuesday Alan and I ran around doing errands and then I laid down for work!

Work Tue-Thur night!

Supposed to go camping and fishing this weekend!

Quality Time with my Favorite Boy!

Sunday evening, Alan and I met Mom to get Logan.  We hadn't eaten dinner yet so the three of us went to Red Lobster!  The hostess was wonderful and took one of the Lobsters out of the tank and explained a lot of stuff about lobsters to Logan...apparetnly she was a biology major.  Monday, we relaxed around the house for a bit and then went riding around and looking at houses.  Alan and I found a house that we fell IN LOVE with, but I don't think we will be buying one any time soon!  Insert sad face!  That evening, we rode the 4-wheeler to the creek and then went over to JD's to let him see the beagle puppies.  Logan fell head over heels in love with them and wanted one so bad!
Logan and Alan at the creek

Tuesday, we met Brit and Tanner and went too...

We had a great time and I'm pretty sure the boys did, too!  Logan still isn't tall enough to ride the roller coasters, but he really wants to.  Maybe by the end of the year.....he's got 2 more inches!  He still had his cast on and it got soaking wet, he freaked out and thought that his doctor was going to get mad at him...lol!  I assured him it would be okay, but he was so worried about it!

Wednesday, we went to the doctor to get his cast removed.  They xrayed his arm and said everything looked great and he didn't have any limitations.  He has a pretty large knot on his arm, but the doc said that would go away in 3 months.  He also, can't straighten his arm out but the doc said that would take some time, too!  What better way to celebrate getting your cast off than to go to The Wilderness.

It's actually called Wilderness at the Smokies, but for whatever reason we call it The Wilderness.  It is a hotel with both an indoor and outdoor waterpark!  I took Logan last year before he started school and he loved it!  I also invited his friends Tyler and Olivia and Nicole brought them down after she got off work.  He and I got there, checked in, and immedietly headed to the indoor part (it was storming outside.)

We rode the Storm Chaser 1st thing.  Technically Logan is too short for it but he has ridden it before and he LOVES it!  So we got up there, the girl didn't even measure him and on the ride we went!  We immediatly got off of it and went straight back up to the top and they wouldn't let him back on.  Talk about one mad sister!  He wasn't too disappointed though.  We played for a while and then went back to the room to make a run to Wal-Mart.  Once Nicole and the other kiddos got there, we ordered pizza, ate and then let them play until 10pm when the indoor part closed!  The next day Krystal came over and spent the day with us!  That turned out to be such a great help because all 3 kids wanted to go in different directions!  Overall, the kids had a great time and I'm glad I got to take Logan!  I spent the night at the house Thursday and then headed home Friday to get ready for work.

I worked Friday-Monday!  I was off Tuesday night, so I spent most of the day sleeping, got up went to the movies, met Brook at we watched....

It was hilarious and I can't wait to watch it again!  That night, I went to Wal-Mart and got...

in this particular color, I need some more practice but they look pretty good!

Love Maci!

Mayfield Chocolate Almond Ice Cream

Love this guy and this CD is wonderful!

So, I spent my night relaxing and watching things that I had recorded with DVR (one of the best inventions ever.)  It was wonderful!!!

Logan's 1st Concert

On Friday, Febrauary 25 I took Logan to his 1st concert....he loved it and I'm so happy I got to expierence his 1st concert with him.

I took him to see Jason Aldean in Knoxville at Thompson Bowling Arena.  Ever since Jason Aldean released Big Green Tractor, Logan has LOVED the song...of course, at the time the song came out he loved anything and everything that had anything to do with tractors.  Anywho, he loves the song, like knows every work of it and has for a long time.  He even sang karaoke to it at Kelsie and Lewey's wedding back in November of 2010.  I had always said if Jason Aldean came to Knoxville I would take him, so I bought us tickets as soon as I found out he would be there.

Logan wasn't really sure if he wanted to go or not.  Mom had told him a while back that concerts were boring and so he was on the fence and honestly, I wasn't going to push him to go, because we weren't that impressed with the concert when we saw it in Chattanooga.  Anyway, he decided the week of the concert that he wanted to go and by Friday he was really excited.  I met mom in Monterey to pick him up around 1 pm, took him to get his hair cut, and then went to Brandon and Blake's to meet them!  So....it was me, Logan, Alan, Brandon, Blake, and Joanna......crazy crew!  Logan loves being around everyone so he was already having a blast.

We stopped at Smoky Mountain Brewery to eat in Turkey Creek before the concert.  We missed the Jane Deer Girls, which I'm was NOT upset about.  Eric Church came out right as we were getting to our seats.  Most of the time Logan was looking pretty bored during Eric Church so I was a little worried that he was going to be bored during the whole show.  When he sang Love Your Love the Most, (mustuard on my fries is what Logan calls it) Logan stood up in his chair and sang.  Then when he sang these boots we convinced him to take his boot off and hold it up in the air.  All the ladies around us got a kick out of him all night long!  The whole time Eric was playing he kept asking when Jason Aldean was going to sing.

Once Eric went off stage and they turned the lights on, he just kept asking when Jason Aldean was gonna come on stage!  Then the next questions he asked a million times was....what I thought his 1st song was gonna be?  Honestly, I can't remember the 1st song, but I do remember that he knew the words to almost every song and he had the biggest smile on his face.  He would sit down after each song thinking that he wouldn't know the next song and that he wouldn't wanna stand up to sing it and almost everytime he was up singing.  I do know that he was on cloud 9 when Big Green Tractor came on!  He stood up, was dancing, playing the air guitar, and singing EVERY word!  I LOVED it!  He had worn a cowboy hat and had taken it off.  For whatever reason, when Big Greeen Tractor came on, he immedietly said I need my cowboy hat....it was so cute!  Anyhow, Big Green Tractor, Crazytown, and Hicktown were the 3 songs he really loves and wanted to hear.  He sang Big Green Tractor and Crazytown and then went off stage.  Logan sat down in his seat, put his cowboy hat in his lap and fell asleep.  I knew he'd come back on stage and he did.  Hicktown was his last song and I woke Logan up a couple of times to see if he wanted to wake up to hear it, but he just pushed me off....it was 11:30 at this point so the boy was TIRED!  I stood up to sing along and watch, turned around to talk to Alan and then I felt a little tug on my arm.  Logan had woke up, was back standing up in his chair and singing along!  It was a great night!

He is already asking when the next concert is and when we can go back to another one!  I am so excited, I think he's gonna love live music as much as I do.  I can't wait to take him to another one!

He fell asleep as soon as we got into the car.  He spent the night with us and Saturday we got up, did a little shopping, went to the park, came home and painted wooden dinausours, went to eat chinease, and then went to see Gnomeo and Juliet in 3D.  It was such a cute movie and actually held Logan's attention the whole time, which is hard to do.  Plus, Alan even said it was good!  After the movie, we went by Wal-Mart to get some things and ended up buying a Kinect for the xbox.  We spent the rest of the evening playing it!

Such a great weekend.  I love that little guy to death!
