Wayne came by on Saturday and saw him for a bit! Susan also came by for the 1st time. Mom and Logan came up around 4pm. Mom kept Hunter so Alan and I could go out to eat for his birthday. I know it's early to leave him, but I know we left him in good hands! Alan wanted to eat El Tap so we went there 1st! We talked about Hunter the whole time! After dinner, we went to see Alan's Ma for a bit and then went to Walmart. We ended up being gone about 3 1/2 hours, but I was so ready to get home to him. Mom and Logan spent the night.
Out for the 1st time without him
Sunday, Alan and I took Logan to see the Avengers! Definitely not a movie I would have picked, but they enjoyed it! Jo came by to see him before we left, but we had to run. She stayed with my Mom to visit with him. Bill and Nancy also came by while we were gone. After the movie we went straight home. Josh, Jake, and Jones came by to get Jake's wakeboard and they came in. Josh got him and had him for quite a while, I'm sure Jake and Jones were wondering if they were ever going to get to go to the lake. Brit also, came by later in the evening.
Jo took this while she was visiting and sent it to me.
On Monday we had NO plans! He spent most of the day sleeping and eating. We went to town to pick up our engagement pictures and we also ran to Walmart! Alan packed his diaper bag and forgot to put an extra outfit in. I mentioned it as we were going down the road but didn't think we would need it! I was nursing him in the parking lot at Walmart and he had a blow out...lol! Pooped all over him and me so he had to ride home in his diaper...I don't think he minded! His umbilical cord also fell off! I wasn't expecting it to be so soon!
Tuesday, Alan got up with Hunter and let me sleep in. I slept until 11am. It was wonderful! We tried to do his hand prints/foot prints before his bath. We didn't have any trouble getting a foot print but he would not cooperate for us to do a hand print. He had his 3rd Dr. appointment today. His weight was down to 6lbs and 9oz so they want me to start offering formula after he breastfeeds. After we left the Dr. we went by rehab to visit Ma. She held/fed Hunter for quite a while. Once we got home we just had a relaxing evening. Alan cooked supper. We had chicken, green beans, corn, and mac and cheese!
Making silly faces at his Dr. appointment
Visiting Ma
He loves to cover his face up while he sleeps...freaks me out!
I was itching to get out of the house so on Wednesday we packed up and headed shopping. We stopped at Target to take some things back and then went to Opry Mills. It was the 1st time I had been since it re-opened. Hunter did great shopping. We put him in his stroller and never really heard a peep from him. I pumped while going down the road for the 1st time, guess I should get used to that! Shopping wore me out. I had planned on getting some new clothes because it's been so long since I have bought anything non-maternity, however, I didn't buy a single thing for myself!
Shopping!
Thursday-Hunter and I spent the morning at home relaxing while Alan worked out in the yard. Later on that evening Kelsie, Lewey, and Hames came over so the guys could work on the boat. It was funny having the boys together. One would cry and the other would start, then they would both stop at the same time. I have a feeling they are going to be
T-R-O-U-B-L-E when they get older! Brandon, Christi, and Jamie also ended up coming over and the boys cooked dinner for us. It was nice!
Napping in the pack n play for the 1st time!
Friday-Kelsie, Hames, and Lewey came back over to do some things on the boat. Margaux also came over to see Hunter! Later that evening Me, Alan, and Hunter met Jo at Cheddars for dinner! After that Alan and Hunter went home and Jo and I went shopping. Once again, I didn't really find anything. We got finger nail polish, stuff to make strawberry upside down cake, and movies and went home and had a girls night...with Hunter and Alan of course. Margaux also came back over.
Having dinner at Cheddars. Our 1st time taking him out to eat!
