Yesterday I went in for my normal check up. BP was good but had been elevated over the weekend so I talked my doc into inducing me! She is going to put me in Thursday night and then start pit on Friday morning. Thursday is our 4 year anniversary and I cannot think of a better way to spend it than waiting on our little man to get here!
I really had hoped to journal more often during this pregnancy, but we stayed so very busy! Seems like everything went by so quickly, except for these past couple of weeks! I haven't had any complications except my BP spiking a couple of times! I've gained about 30lbs...which I'm okay with and I've felt pretty great most of the time. Of course, I had nights I couldn't sleep, days where I felt like all I did was run to the bathroom, and time where I thought I could never get enough to eat, but overall it has been a pretty easy pregnancy!
We just got Hunter's room finished a couple of days ago. I plan to take some pictures of it soon since it's nice and clean right now and will probably never look that way again. This past weekend Alan put the pack n' play in our bedroom. The plan is for Hunter to sleep in there for the first couple of weeks/months until we feel comfortable putting him in his crib. Everything else is ready. The swing, bouncy seat, and the other pack n' play are in the living room. We've cleaned the house and washed all the linens so we will have a clean house to come home to. We still need to run to the grocery store to stock up on food and I still need to pack our bags. Hunter's bag has been packed for quite a while now, but I've been slacking on packing mine!
We had every intention of getting me a car by this point but things haven't quite worked out that way. Who knew that if you deposited a cashiers check they could hold your money for over a week??? We obviously didn't. So we will have to find me a car sometime after Hunter gets here!
This past weekend was Nicole's bridal shower. It went well and she and Michael got lots of nice gifts. I spent the night at the house and then took their engagement pictures on Sunday! I love to watch them interact because you can tell they are still so crazy in love with each other! After I got done with that I spent some time playing the wii with Logan before heading back home. I can't wait for him to meet Hunter!
Kels ended up in the hospital yesterday with elevated BP also so she's on bed rest now! Today we are going to have prenatal massages together! I cannot wait! I think they will induce her on Wednesday night, so Hames should be here Thursday and Hunter on Friday! It's so crazy how things have worked out!!! I think I will spend these next few days relaxing, resting, and pampering myself. Pedicure with Jo on Wednesday!
