Little Miss: Fish Lipz

Two weekends ago, a group of us rented a cabin at Pates Ford Marina for the night and went to Fish Lipz! Fish Lipz is a bar on the lake so it was perfect...we spent all day on the lake and around 9:30, we parked our boat in a slip, and went to the bar, when we were done there we could WALK to our cabin....BEST THING EVER! Everyone could drink and no one had to be the DD.

Anywho, we got off to a later start than we had wanted, but eventually made it there, got the boat in the water, Brit bought a wakeboard, Alan bought some bindings and then we were finally on the water! Brit and I were surrounded by boys all weekend, which usually works out to be a BLAST! We spent most of the day riding, came in to have some lunch/supper at the dock, and went back out! everyone was pretty ~~drunk~~ HAPPY!

Brit and I ran to the cabin to change and while we were getting ready the power went off, pretty sure we both screamed like 3 year olds! Once we got back to the bar, we found the boys listening to the band! I was surprised because MOST of the people there were older people. And when I say older I mean 50's and 60's! It was quite entertaining. The band was wonderful, the played great music all night! Of course, after I got a few more drinks in me I started requesting songs...DixieLand Delight, which I ALWAYS request and then I think I wanted to hear something by Eric Church and they played Drink a Little Drink, Smoke a Little Smoke! We all spend most of the night dancing and jumping around! It was AUUUUU-MAZIN! Alan spent most of the night dancing with old women, dancing with me, playing his air guitar (haha) and falling asleep at the bar! I guess he deserved a good time!

The next morning we all slept way to late, went down to the dock to have lunch and went back out on the lake! The boys fished for a bit and then we headed home! Can't wait to do it again!
